2/3 year olds Conderman Nursery Buildng

Toddlers experience free play discovery and an age-appropriate Bible story each week; a craft is done once a month for the oldest children to reinforce the story, and occasionally a short DVD is added.

We are excited to implement the Spark Classroom curriculum this year in ALL Sunday School classrooms.  This NEW curriculum is a wonderful, comprehensive learning resource.

           Our children will interact (hands-on) with the Bible in every lesson, helping them navigate the story and begin to compare what they learn to their own life.

Spark curriculum engages kids in the Bible story with lessons packed with activities, interactive games, and creative crafts.   It helps kids experience the Salvation story each year by exploring the Old Testament in the fall, and the New Testament in the winter and spring.

The 3rd grade class will individually receive the new Spark Bible NSRV this year as their Bible given by the church.  However, because the Spark Bible is used with their Sunday School lessons, we will also give one to our 4th and 5th graders in their Sunday School class.

Children Kindergarten thru 2nd grade will use the Spark Story Bible in their classrooms.  We will have enough copies for each child to use weekly and they will learn to find the stories and interact with the Bible in their lessons.

Preschoolers will begin the year with their teachers reading to them from the Spark Story Bible.  As the year  progresses, the preschoolers will be given more opportunity to hold and engage directly with the Bibles in their room.

To help transition our children to regularly worship with the whole body of faith, we have options for younger children on Sunday morning during worship at 11am. 

Parents who wish to take advantage of this option may choose to let their child (5 years old and younger) exit the service with the adult helper following the children's time and offering on Sunday morning at 11am.
